Treatment

Hair loss treatment Process

Unlike conventional hair loss treatments, the problem of hair loss needs careful review, analysis and a holistic and comprehensive treatment approach. While hair loss is a universal problem, the causes for hair loss are different in different individuals. A variation in the degree of the causes and the combination of factors affecting hair loss, make it a complex problem and the treatment process even more. That’s why all of our treatments are custom treatments for hair loss depending on the actual state of hair loss and scalp conditioned ascertained by proven medical techniques and not generic treatments like medicines, oils and other applications.

Physical check (Capilloscopy)
A physical check of the hair and scalp is done to understand the underlying conditions. This is done using a high resolution imaging software with the help of a capilloscope. This helps understand the physical state of the hair to assess the damage and any scalp conditions that are not visible to the naked eye. The instrument helps us to determine the state of the scalp, the conditions of the hair follicle and also the hair shaft diameter.

History
We document, analyse and assess the entire personal, medical and lifestyle history of our clients to ensure we cover all possible aspects of hair loss causes and accordingly take the treatment process forward.

Hair test and analysis
For those who are suffering from hair loss, trichoanalysis of the hair that is Trichogram is advisable otherwise there is no absolute quantification of abnormal or normal hair loss. The extent of hair loss can only be completely assessed through laboratory analysis of hair samples by finding out A: T ratio of the hair. With the help of this report we can evaluate the structure of the hair at the root or the bulb and the body or the shaft level. For this purpose 10-12 hair strands are plucked and sent to our laboratory for testing. The lab test of hair samples also gives us an idea about the keratin levels in the hair.

Medication
Based on the results of physical check of hair and scalp, the results of the lab report of hair samples and the history of the patient, our trichologists prescribe medicines to treat hair loss. These medicines are made from natural plant extracts and are given on basis of grade for hair loss problems.

External applications
Products like shampoo, oil, tonic etc are recommended for application on hair and scalp. They are made of natural extracts like the jaborandi extracts and saw palmetto extracts.

Therapy
Patented therapeutic treatments are also given to patients as a part of hair loss treatment process. Of these Tricho Scalp Therapy (popularly known as TST) is prescribed to patients for sittings to achieve results over a period of time. This unique treatment helps by disinfecting, detoxifying and rejuvenating your hair and scalp. This treatment is generally prescribed on weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis based on the needs of your hair and scalp by your trichologist.

Diet
A balanced diet with inclusion of key nutrients is a good complement to the natural hair loss treatment that a patient undergoes. A complete guide to healthy hair food and a nutritious diet is a part of the treatment and consulting process.

Lifestyle
Though a stress free lifestyle is imperative for health of hair, specific advice on managing stress and other disorderly lifestyle habits is an important part of the treatment process to achieve optimum results.

Review
Since the treatment of hair loss takes place over a period of time it needs to be reviewed regularly to monitor results. For this patients are advised periodic follow ups to verify results and requirements for further treatment. This progress is documented accurately and reflects on the patient’s case card.

Maintenance
Maintaining hair after hair loss treatment is as important as the treatment itself. We provide world class natural hair products ranging from oils, shampoos, creams and cleansers that help you maintain healthy hair even after your treatment process is over.
